This investigative documentary by DW looks behind the shiny facade of luxury fashion. Shot with a hidden camera, it shows the brutal conditions in Chinese fur farms, and how migrants are exploited in Italian tanneries.

3. River Blue
This documentary talks about the most serious, and perhaps the most worrying, consequence of fast fashion, water pollution. It follows river conservationist, Mark Angelo, for three years, as he takes a journey around the world to document the devastating impact the fashion industry has had on our water resources. To put things into perspective, it takes about 2,700 litres of water to produce one cotton shirt.
